SENATE RESOLUTION NO. 8
(By Senators Plymale, Scott, Wagner, Chafin, White, Ross and
Bowman)
Congratulating Ceredo-Kenova High School football team for winning
the 1994 state Class A championship.
Whereas, The Ceredo-Kenova High School football team ended the
1994 season with 14 wins and no losses, earning them a chance to
participate in the state championship; and
Whereas, The Ceredo-Kenova High School football participated
in and won the 1994 state Class A football championship; and
Whereas, Head coach Don Money and his assistant, Lace
Hardwick, along with athletic director Mike Smith take great pride
in leading their team to victory; and
Whereas, The athletic ability and outstanding sportsmanship of
each of the team players helped to make winning the 1994 state
Class A championship a reality; therefore, be it
Resolved by the Senate:
That the Ceredo-Kenova High School football team is hereby
congratulated for an outstanding 1994 football season and for winning the state Class A championship; and, be it
Further Resolved, That the Clerk is hereby directed to forward
a copy of this resolution to head coach, Don Money; assistant
coach, Lace Hardwick; athletic director, Mike Smith; and John F.
Hussell, principal of Ceredo-Kenova High School.
